About The Role

Main responsibility of the role is to assist with managing all marketing activity relating to the Marine and Waterpark Division, including its sub-business units under the Aquaventure World brand across the following areas:

  • Aquaventure Waterpark
  • The Lost Chambers Aquarium
  • Marine Animal Experiences (Dolphins and Sea Lions)
  • Watersports
  • Retail & F&B operations within Marine and Waterpark Division

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist on the overall strategy, performance, and profitability of the Marine and Waterpark Division by developing strategic Marketing Brand and Commercial Plans with the objective to exceed the annual business targets.
  • Drive brand visibility of the Aquaventure World brand and all sub-business unit brands in local and international markets to increase brand awareness and equity.
  • Assist with the direct ticket sales to achieve budgeted revenue through cutting-edge brand, product and tactical campaigns throughout the year.
  • Responsibility and ownership of the Aquaventure World brand identity, ensuring the tone of voice, visual identity and brand essence is protected and promoted across all marketing initiatives.
  • Help develop the Annual Marketing Calendar in line with business objectives and developed marketing strategies.
  • Help create fully-fledged integrated marketing campaigns with the objective of driving new customer acquisitions and capitalizing off cross-sell, upsell and repeat visitation tactics.
  • Responsible for the full in-park guest experience in conjunction with all Operations departments to promote activities with the objective to increase guest share of wallet and provide an extraordinary guest experience. This also includes leading on all in-resort collateral, signage, digital screens and mobile applications content updates.
  • Execute competitor analysis and maintain consistent communication with relevant departments to ensure all areas across the business stay ahead of the competition.
  • Create Post-Campaign Reports to ensure continuous learnings and improvements for future marketing initiatives.
  • Drive effective marketing results with the use of data and information to make informed decisions regarding media strategy, packages, promotions, and partnerships campaigns.
  • Ensure brand efficacy across Search, Social and Content is maintained.
  • Assist with the administration and planning for the annual marketing plans and budgeting cycles.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader Commercial teams across Marketing, Sales, PR and Revenue Management teams as well as Operations for effective brand and campaign management.
  • Ideate and roll out media and advertising plans and work with agencies to drive key marketing plans.

About You

We are looking for candidates with minimum 2 years experience in marketing, ideally in a theme park, waterpark or a complex facility in entertainment or adventure industry. You must demonstrate vision, initiative, energy, and enthusiasm for the challenges of working in a perpetually changing environment and have strong commercial acumen with strategic mind-set. Previous experience working with social media platforms and/or content creation to promote brands, events, or attractions is necessary to succeed in this role. This role, together with another Assistant Manager and Team Leader, will work under the general guidance of Marketing Manager and Director, and be part of a wider Marketing team supporting Atlantis Dubai.
