Job Description

As an Assistant Manager in Learning & Development (L&D), you will play a critical role in shaping and enhancing the learning experiences of employees within our organization. You will support the L&D Manager in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that bolster employee skills and knowledge. Your contributions will ensure that our workforce is well-equipped to meet current and future business challenges. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for developing talent. Your ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced environments will be key in driving the learning initiatives to success.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies and programs.
  • Conduct needs analysis to identify training and development requirements for employees.
  • Create engaging and effective training materials, online modules, and workshop content.
  • Facilitate interactive and impactful training sessions for diverse employee groups.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align learning initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-efficient training solutions are implemented.
  • Support the development of a learning culture within the organization.
  • Utilize learning management systems to track and report on training participation and success.
  • Stay updated with the latest L&D trends, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior L&D team members as needed.
  • Coordinate with external training providers and consultants when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in learning and development or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in both written and oral forms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and excellence.
