The Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting is responsible for the following activities:
Preparation of the annual financial statements of UAE standalone entities
Preparation of the annual financial statements of KSA entity as well as the quarterly reporting
Liaising with external auditors during the quarterly and annual audits for the specific reporting requirements of the above entities.
Support the financial reporting team on efforts related to group consolidation and financial reporting for over 40 cross border subsidiaries.
Preparation of the Group Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss for monthly and quarterly stakeholder reporting.
Preparation of various accounting papers relevant to the business, including new IFRS impact analysis.
Manage UAE and KSA central bank reporting requirements and timely coordination with the compliance team for submission.
Financial Statements
Timely, accurate and error-free preparation and finalization of quarterly and annual stand-alone financial statements of various entities including but not limited to UAE Entities.
Smooth and efficient liaising with the external auditors to ensure timely completion of the audit and engaging with the internal team to clarify and resolve audit issues.
Supporting the financial reporting team on efforts related to group consolidation and financial reporting for over 40 cross border subsidiaries, including preparation of detailed notes and supporting schedules.
Proper monitoring of the status of group subsidiaries on their statutory reporting and filing, to avoid fines and penalties.
Financial Reporting
Timely, accurate and error-free preparation and finalization of the Group Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss for monthly and quarterly stakeholder reporting.
Timely conducting vendor financial assessments, supporting on vendor due diligence and financial health check.
Efficiently manage the UAE reporting requirements ensuring the numbers are complete and accurate as well as proper coordination with the compliance team for timely submission.
Timely, accurate and error-free preparation and finalization of the Group Profit and Loss on a monthly basis for management reporting.
Preparation of intercompany elimination model for both the Balance Sheet and PL on a monthly basis for both management and statutory reporting.
Support quarterly scheme reporting for all clients in line with Mastercard and Visa requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Financial Systems
Adherence to Oracle FCCS when preparing the financial statements and supporting schedules.
Initiate the automation of IFRS models.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified accountant – CA / CPA or equivalent
8 - 10+ years’ prior relevant experience
Holding a similar role within a Fintech, Bank / Financial services or FMCG organization but with regional experience
Big 4 background is a plus
