Job Description

The Assistant Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) plays a critical role in supporting the financial health of the organization by providing insightful analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning. Working closely with senior management, the Assistant Manager helps forecast future business scenarios, evaluates past and present financial data, and provides financial recommendations to enhance company profitability and budgeting accuracy. This dynamic role requires an individual who is not only adept at analyzing numbers but also possesses exceptional communication skills to clearly convey financial insights to stakeholders. The position necessitates a deep understanding of corporate finance, strong analytical skills, and the capacity to drive financial strategies that align with our business objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models that project company’s future financial performance.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial analysis reports to senior management.
  • Analyze and interpret financial trends to guide decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance metrics.
  • Support the annual budgeting process with accurate financial data and insights.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities to drive strategic business outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to assess company-wide financial health.
  • Assist in corporate development projects, including mergers and acquisitions evaluations.
  • Ensure alignment of financial goals with the company's overall strategic objectives.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff within the finance team, fostering a culture of learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in financial planning and analysis preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with financial modeling and advanced Excel skills necessary.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with various departments within an organization.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Experience with financial software tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
