About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager – Facilities Management Operations to join Dubai Holding Asset Management. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Support annual OPEX and CAPEX budgeting, monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure timely delivery of approved projects
• Oversee daily Facilities Management operations, including hard and soft services, ensuring service delivery meets SLAs, quality standards, and operational requirements
• Lead and coordinate FM teams and service providers, conducting regular site inspections, audits, meetings, and performance reviews
• Manage and optimize the use of the CAFM system (Maximo), ensuring effective tracking and closure of service requests and work orders
• Monitor utilities consumption and drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and cost-reduction initiatives across assigned assets
• Support asset lifecycle activities, including design reviews, handovers, fit-out approvals, testing & commissioning, and defect management for new developments
• Manage vendor performance, monitor KPIs and SLAs, review service outcomes, certify payments, and ensure compliance with QHSE standards
• Lead tendering and procurement activities, including preparing scopes of work, evaluating proposals, and coordinating with procurement teams
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, maintaining high customer satisfaction and Voice of Customer (VOC) scores
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, recommend operational enhancements, implement FM best practices, and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the FM team

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management; Master’s degree and professional FM qualifications (e.g., IWFM) are an advantage
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Facilities Management, with strong knowledge of hard and soft services, contract management, tendering, and operations
• Strong understanding of maintenance management, FM best practices, statutory regulations, and health & safety requirements
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills; Arabic language skills are desirable
• Demonstrates strong customer focus, problem-solving, adaptability, planning, leadership, teamwork, and results-driven decision-making abilities
