Job Description

Achieve and exceed revenue and other set KPI targets in External Events sale (including External DWTC Venues) by developing and upselling to the existing accounts and securing new accounts in line with the sales strategy across all revenue segments (Hospitality, Event Serve, Housekeeping) to contribute to the commercial success of DWTC in delivering commercially-viable events
Actively identify and convert leads, continuously research market trends for retail activation and Corporate catering. Along with competitor activity, as well as new opportunities and partnerships, consistently grow client database, recommend sales strategy - to retain and grow DWTC Internal & External Events corporate market share. Should also assist in hiring and take ownership in guiding and developing pro-active, efficient sales force- with succession plan.
Provide direct input to the budgeting process based on the past achievements and current market trends in order to build realistic and challenging budgets based on continuous growth and corporate
Cascading event details on time to respective delivery departments to meet clients’ expectations. Pre Event brief with Event Profitability analysis through configurator and post event reports to be provided for all major events (Royalty & Events generating above AED 100K in Revenues).
Remain responsible for the financial closure of the events, keeping outstanding payments to minimum levels and adhering to all audit requirements to ensure compliance
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and business ethic codes to reflect company values and image
Operate within established level of administrative responsibility with regards to sales to ensure efficiency and compliance, including preparation of reports and delivery of any projects assigned by the Line Manager
Discharge other duties as needed or required and deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment

Formal Education

Degree from Reputable Institution or Diploma in Hotel, Management/Sales
MBA Preferred

Work Experience

At Least 3 Years’ Experience in Sales/Customer Service Senior Role, Preferably In Hospitality or Event Management Industry + F&B knowledge will be preferred.
