Our prestigious catering company is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Catering Sales. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about sales and has a strong understanding of the catering and hospitality industry. The Assistant Manager – Catering Sales will be responsible for supporting the sales team in securing catering contracts, maintaining client relationships, and driving customer satisfaction. This role also demands excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate the efficient delivery of catering services. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the sales strategy for catering services.
  • Support Senior Sales Managers in identifying new business opportunities and client acquisition.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the catering operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee client contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and sales reports to senior management.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor analysis.
  • Assist with pricing strategies and propose competitive solutions to attract more clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving any service issues promptly.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage multiple sales projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and improve sales performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients.
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage a sales team effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
