ASSISTANT MANAGER - ACCOMMODATION

Job Description

• Assist the Accommodations Director in managing day-to-day activities of the section to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, security coordination, cleaning services, and landscaping.
• Monitor and maintain building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), ensuring efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility and grounds to identify maintenance needs, landscaping improvements, and potential hazards.
• Coordinate and manage facility-related projects, including infrastructure upgrades, renovations, landscaping enhancements, and system installations.
• Manage and supervise facility maintenance staff, ensuring high performance, proper training, and compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with security personnel to ensure facility access control, emergency response readiness, and overall safety protocols are in place.
• Monitor budgets for facility operations and improvement projects, ensuring expenditures align with approved allocations and financial controls.
• Review and approve proposals, and prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for facility services, landscaping contracts, and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, health, safety, and fire codes.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, service providers, and contractors for facility and landscaping services.
• Prepare and present regular facility reports covering maintenance, landscaping, improvements, security coordination, budgeting, and incident tracking.
• Utilize the CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) system for asset management, including tracking work orders, managing assets, monitoring space utilization, and generating operational reports.
