Job Summary

Lake Highland’s Lower School seeks an Assistant Librarian to assist the Lower School Librarian in managing daily library operations, encourage collaboration with the Middle and Upper School divisions and the local community, and provide students with digital citizenship skills to improve learning outcomes. The Assistant Librarian also supports our Edison Program by providing testing accommodations and one-on-one support for students, collaborating with our Edison Specialist to implement accommodations and support students in small group settings or one-on-one.

This is a full-time, fully-benefited, 10-month, exempt position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Library Sciences, or related field required; a Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the field of education as a classroom teacher, librarian, or learning support teacher required.
