Job Description

The Assistant Front Office Manager is a crucial role in the hospitality sector, responsible for ensuring that the front office operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Address guest queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests.
  • Oversee staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest requirements.
  • Implement and uphold hotel policies and standards at the front office.
  • Conduct training and development programs for front office staff members.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage and monitor the inventory of front office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist in financial management tasks, including billing and cash handling.
  • Prepare reports related to front office operations and guest feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a front office supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership abilities and proven experience in team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
