Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to supervise all general maintenance activities in the Distribution Centre in promptly, efficiently and cost-effectively. The successful candidate will delegate tasks, take note of complaints, request materials, keep records of job orders and spares, coordinate with contractors, and oversee contract jobs – all whilst ensuring that safety rules are strictly adhered to. This job plays a key role in ensuring quality support from technical side for the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Allot tasks to competent individual team members
• Receive and register complaints from Distribution Centre staff
• Maintain a record of spares used in various jobs
• Keep team morale high through open communication and set codes of discipline
• Adhere strictly to safety requirements
• Record all work orders carried out
• Make timely material requests as per requirements
• Supervise outsourced contract jobs
• Coordinate with service contractors for repairs and maintenance
  
  

Requirements

• Graduate with diploma in Electromechanical and/or AC and Refrigeration.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and internet.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
