We are looking for an experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the housekeeping department in ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across all areas of the property. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards while managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas meet quality and cleanliness standards.
Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high levels of service excellence.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, laundry, and public spaces to ensure adherence to standards.
Manage inventory and stock control of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment.
Work closely with front office and maintenance teams to coordinate room availability and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and special cleaning requirements in a timely manner.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and staff scheduling to optimize resources.
Maintain records of housekeeping activities, staff performance, and inventory reports.
Support the Executive Housekeeper in strategic planning, training, and team development.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
3+ years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, housekeeping procedures, and safety regulations.
Ability to manage a large team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
Proficiency in housekeeping software and MS Office Suite is a plus.
Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or large-scale hospitality operations.
