The College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University seeks qualified candidates to fill multiple full-time, multi-year Assistant/Associate Professor positions to teach and conduct research in Cyber/Information Security, Computer Networking and Security, Information Technology, and Applied Artificial Intelligence. Faculty with distinguished profiles in Digital Forensics, Information Security Management, Network/Internet Security, Ethical Hacking, and Applied Artificial Intelligence are encouraged to apply. In addition to specialized courses, an appointee may be required to teach introductory Information Technology courses based on the college and student needs.

The College of Technological Innovation (CTI) seeks to produce graduates recognized by business, government, and educational institutions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Gulf Region, and the rest of the world. It also seeks to develop a strong applied research capacity in emerging technologies directed towards meeting the ICT needs of the UAE and Gulf region. The CTI academic programs are practical, competency-based, and designed to prepare students for successful careers as Information Technology professionals.

At the undergraduate level, CTI offers three bachelor’s degrees: Information Systems, Technology Management, Information Technology, and Intelligent Systems Engineering. At the graduate level, CTI offers two Master’s degrees: Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Master of Science in Digital Transformation and Innovation. Currently, CTI has 79+ full-time faculty members and 2,700+ students pursuing majors in the College across its Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses.

Qualifications

· Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree at the time of appointment from an internationally accredited university in Information/Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Network Security, Cyber Criminal Behavior, Networking, Applied Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline.

· Successful candidates should demonstrate a strong record of teaching excellence and scholarly research in one or more of the following areas: information/cyber security, digital forensics, information security management, network security, intrusion detection systems, ethical hacking, wireless and mobile security, operating systems security, database security, application security, security analytics, networking, wireless (sensor) networks, and applied artificial intelligence.

· A demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and service.

· Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

· Preference will be given to applicants who are familiar with ABET/CAA accreditation and have professional experience in a multicultural environment.
