Assistant Accountant

Noorka Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about accounting and finance and is looking to build a successful career in a dynamic logistics environment. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations and help maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accounting records.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of expenses, payments, and company accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management summaries.
• Support VAT documentation and compliance requirements.
• Organize and maintain financial files and accounting documents.
• Assist with audit preparations and other finance-related tasks as required.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
