Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and finance? We are seeking an Assistant Accountant for Hosting Invoice Support to join our dynamic finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our billing processes. As an Assistant Accountant, you will support the finance department by handling invoice-related queries, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate ledger records. You'll work closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure all invoicing is seamlessly processed, and any discrepancies are promptly addressed. Responsibilities

  • Review and process hosting invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conduct reconciliations of account discrepancies and investigations.
  • Support the finance team in the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date ledgers and ensure all records are accurate and complete.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external clients to resolve invoicing issues.
  • Develop and implement improvements to invoicing processes and policies.
  • Provide support in audits and assist auditors by providing necessary documentation.
  • Monitor the accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices with clients.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic financial reports to management and department heads.
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures for invoicing.
  • Handle queries related to invoices and provide exceptional customer service support.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar accounting support role needed.
  • Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for financial reports.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle client inquiries effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in deadline-driven environments.
