Job Description

INTECH Process Automation is looking for a Asset Registration Officer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be providing a comprehensive and systematic field campaign to conduct telecom infrastructure asset verification. It includes the physical identification, mapping, and documentation of all telecom-related systems, aligned with IT service management and IT asset management standards.

Asset Inventory & Verification

  • Physical identification, tagging, and documentation of telecom systems, subsystems, and nodes.
  • Capture of detailed attributes: serial numbers, tag numbers, quantities, equipment age, and operational status.
  • Verification of non operational and undocumented assets.
  • Each site is requested to be documented separately with a site specific report and dashboard summary.

Asset Registration in SAP

  • All collected data shall be structured for integration into SAP system, ensuring traceability and compliance.
  • Registration shall cover systems, subsystems, and nodes to create a unified and standardized asset register.
  • Data formatting shall comply with the requirements for SAP Ariba integration.

Requirements:

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecom / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in Asset management / inventory management or Telecom infrastructure operations.
  • Experience with SAP or IT asset management systems is a strong advantage.
  • Good hand on experience with SAP ERP / SAP Asset Management / SAP Ariba, MS Excel (advanced level), Asset tracking tools / CMDB system.

Skills:

  • SAP systems (SAP ERP / SAP Asset Management / SAP Ariba)
  • Strong data handling and documentation skills (Excel, databases, reporting tools)
  • Asset tagging, inventory systems, and lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of telecom infrastructure systems (e.g., transmission, SDH/DWDM, microwave, networking equipment).
  • Experience of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
  • Basic GIS or mapping tools knowledge.
  • Ability to verify, reconcile, and validate large datasets.
  • Attention to detail in asset identification and classification.
  • Ability to detect inconsistencies or missing asset records.
  • Strong field communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently in remote or site based environments.
  • Good organizational and reporting skills.
  • Discipline in documentation and compliance adherence.
