Key Responsibilities

Assemblers are responsible for following instructions contained in work orders and examine in-process and finished components to confirm completion based on blueprint specifications.

  • Execute standard work independently.
  • Setup, operate, and inspect Value Stream workstation output.
  • Setup, operate, and inspect all tools and equipment necessary to execute standard work.
  • Test and calibrate most assemblies according to specifications.
  • Execute standard work with a high degree of quality and near zero quality discrepancies.
  • Execute standard work to meet efficiency standards on all tasks.
  • Assess and resolve simple problems in execution of standard work with support from others on complex tasks.

Requirements For Consideration

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs.
  • Some duties require walking, standing, bending, or climbing for extended periods.
  • 3-5 years assembly experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Windows.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure).
