Art Director Brand And Visual

Deep Knowledge Group runs a portfolio of longevity and health-tech brands, from research and media platforms to membership and card products. We are looking for an Art Director to give them a visual identity that feels deliberate, consistent and credible.

The situation

Dozens of our websites and platforms were built at different times, by different people, mostly on Wix, custom HTML and application frameworks. Many began as temporary solutions and stayed. Later products and branches inherited the look of the one before, so the inconsistencies compounded. Nobody has owned the visual system across the portfolio. You will.

The role

You will set the visual direction across several projects at once. Your first project is the Longevity Club and Card pilot, which means a bounded visual and messaging kit and one approved journey. After that, other products come through our request intake, one at a time. You will have real authority to audit legacy design, decide what stays, and rebuild it properly.

You work AI-first: you find references, brief AI tools and freelancers, review the options, then choose, merge and approve the final result. You are accountable for what ships. Taste and judgement are the job, not hands-on production.

What you will do

• Audit current visuals and propose an order for fixing them
• Define the visual system, guidelines and templates for each product
• Direct AI image, page and video production, and approve the final result
• Brief, manage and review freelancers and agencies
• Approve the look of websites, product UI and video together with Product and Front-end
• Report on requests, decisions and progress in writing, regularly

We are a research organisation, so the look we want is serious, clear and trustworthy, closer to a credible institution than a wellness brand. The work runs through a structured intake and review process, with regular written reporting. If you like clear priorities and see structure as a way to get good work shipped, you will fit in well.

The MarTech team is growing, and the roles around you (product, front-end, marketing operations) are still being filled, so you would help shape how design works here. The team moves fast and has no technical limits on tooling.

What we are looking for

• A strong portfolio and demonstrable taste: you can explain why something works and what to change
• Agency or studio experience handling several brands or clients at once
• Experience bringing order to an inconsistent or inherited brand or product line
• Fluency with current AI image, design and video tools, and clear brief-writing for them
• Experience commissioning and reviewing work from freelancers or agencies
• Resourcefulness: you find a way, and you bring initiative into the process
• Comfort with written reporting and a structured review process
• Nice to have: video or AI-video direction, Figma and design-system experience, experience in science, health or finance, fluent in Russian
