We are looking to hire Area Sales Manager to develop and execute Area Sales and Marketing plans consistent with the budget and medium-term plan, and to act as Account Manager in the nominated market area.
Key Responsibilities
Objective: Achieving sales Targets for the assigned Territories, and explore business opportunities to exceed these targets.
Agent management: Actively manage and measure performance of both existing and new agents & distributors in the area of responsibility.
Sales Process: To process enquiries as required which will include but not be limited to the following: Review of the technical specifications, coordination with customers and the tendering team to prepare and submit quotations and technical submittals. Negotiate both Technically and Commercially to secure customer purchase orders. Handing over the Purchase Orders to the Operations Team in line with the sales process.
Forecasts: Issue a monthly sales management forecast and report to the Regional Sales Manager.
Research and Development: Actively contribute to development plans for new products with the Research & Development Function.
Exhibitions & Events: Attend or visit regional trade shows, exhibitions events, interfacing with customers, holding technical seminars and presentations as necessary
Managing Promotional Support: Ensure that Lucy products are effectively supported within agreed Budgets
Marketing responsibility: Work closely with the Global Marketing team and product managers to ensure that Lucy’s Products are well positioned in the assigned markets and identify areas that require improvement.
Area of Responsibilities: to cover countries within MENA & Central Asia region as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager
Additional Responsibilities
Follow company Health and Safety guidelines, to ensure that safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment for employees, contractors and visitors.
To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the Sales & Marketing Department.
Stay up to date by participating in learning opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal network.
Following up and achieving the prequalification of Lucy products in the targeted markets
Investigate potential local manufacturers in the targeted countries to localize the targeted Lucy products
Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of information relating to the company’s business and staff.
Education And Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Electrical Engineering or equivalent
5 to 10 years of experience in Technical Sales, in Power and Automation industry
A forward thinking, customer focused and creative mind
A passion for excellence and a proven ability to succeed
Must be customer focused and has ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
Must be organized and detail oriented
Must be flexible to attend to customer complaints anytime of the day.
Plan and conduct presentations to potential and current clients
Mature judgment, can prioritize and has the ability to work with little to no supervision
Good interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills
Russian, Kazakh/ Uzbek language is must, Arabic is plus
Computer literate and excellent knowledge in Microsoft and outlook
The job requires project related travelling as well as customer-specific travelling for field trials, technical conferences and customer interactions to about 30 to 40% of the time.
