The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth across offline and eCommerce channels in the Middle East, managing distributors and key accounts, and consistently achieving sales targets.
Key responsibilities:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in line with company objectives.
Develop and grow offline (distributors, dealers, retail) and online channels (eCommerce platforms, marketplaces, and online partners).
Maintain and expand relationships with existing and new customers through effective sales methods including presentations, meetings, follow-ups, and cross-functional coordination.
Ensure compliance with pricing, margin, and commercial policies.
Prepare accurate quotations, conduct cost calculations, and negotiate terms to close sales while adhering to company guidelines.
Analyze regional sales performance to identify growth opportunities, network expansion, and corrective actions.
Manage distributor relationships, including monitoring secondary sales performance, evaluating distributor effectiveness, supporting inventory planning and order placement.
Collaborate with distributors and online partners to optimize sell-in, sell-through, and stock health.
Manage channel relationships throughout the sales cycle, ensuring accurate maintenance of account and sales data in internal systems.
Introduce new products to dealers and online partners and support product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
Support and execute eCommerce initiatives, including online promotions, digital campaigns, and coordination with marketplace or DTC partners where applicable.
Follow up on collections to ensure payments are received within agreed credit terms.
Assist in planning and executing local marketing activities within approved budgets and timelines, including promotions, exhibitions, product launches, and consumer campaigns.
Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly sales reports to track performance and inform decision-making.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer behavior across both offline and online channels.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.4–6 years of experience in channel sales within consumer electronics; candidates from premium or luxury FMCG brands are also encouraged to apply.
Experience managing distributors and/or eCommerce platforms in the Middle East market is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation, influencing, and closing skills.
Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Ability to assess customer needs, manage expectations, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conflict management skills.
Strategic mindset with strong execution and follow-through capabilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven, omnichannel environment.
