Role: Area Sales Manager – Middle East

The Role


As Area Sales Manager for the Middle East and Africa, you will champion Salvatori’s heritage of Italian craftsmanship, innovation, and timeless design across the region. You will be responsible for driving growth through our retail partner network and project specification pipeline, ensuring exceptional brand representation and commercial performance in a highly competitive luxury environment.

You will build and protect the premium positioning of Salvatori by developing strong relationships with top-tier dealers/retail partners, architects, interior designers, and developers, while maintaining pricing discipline and partner standards aligned with the brand.



What You Will Do


  • Drive Regional Growth: Develop and execute a structured sales plan to grow retail and specification business across key Middle East and African markets, aligned with annual targets.
  • Retail Network Performance: Manage, motivate, and elevate performance of existing retail partners through training and commercial support. Identify and onboard new high-end partners where strategic, ensuring strict alignment with Salvatori brand positioning and commercial expectations.
  • Territory Optimization: Ensure coverage and activation across priority markets/cities, focusing on high-potential developers and design communities.
  • Specification & Pipeline Building: Build a structured pipeline of specification projects (high-end residential, branded residences), working closely with showrooms and internal teams.
  • Key Relationship Development: Create lasting relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, project managers, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Brand Storytelling & Training: Deliver engaging presentations and product trainings focused on design excellence, innovation, and material expertise, tailored to each market.
  • End-to-End Project Management: Support projects from concept to delivery: product selection, technical alignment, quoting, negotiations, coordination with HQ, and client service.
  • Commercial Excellence: Maintain accurate CRM reporting (accounts, contacts, opportunities, project stages) and provide reliable sales forecasts.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, identify opportunities and risks, and propose actions to increase market penetration while defending brand equity.
  • Events & Visibility: Represent Salvatori at events, launches, partner activations, and design community moments across the region.



The Candidate


  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in luxury interiors, furniture, bathroom, architectural finishes, or premium materials in the Middle East.
  • Strong network with high-end dealers/retailers, A&D community, and developers across Middle East and Africa.
  • Demonstrated capability managing specification-driven projects and complex stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with natural stone, luxury bath, premium surfaces, or technical high-end materials is a plus.
  • Confident reading drawings and coordinating technical requirements (a plus).
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills; polished, credible, design-sensitive.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and resilient; able to balance short-term retail performance and long-cycle project pipeline.
  • CRM proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills; NetSuite familiarity is a plus.
  • Languages: fluent English required; Italian is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently and support events and partner activities as required.
