Job Overview:

As an Area Manager in Business Banking at Emirates NBD, your role is to manage the overall business; running the centre as a profitable business unit with focus on portfolio growth & cross-sell, managing the centre team, ensuring compliance with UAE Central Bank, anti-money laundering regulations and internal bank policies and use discretionary powers, on a case-to-case basis, for approvals and waivers for Business Banking customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be able to meet all the budgeted targets for revenue, profit, asset & deposit growth, customer acquisition etc
  • Be solely responsible for maintaining the P&L of the respective centre.
  • Lead RMs to manage the BB portfolio, drive new business, review credit proposals, and maintain credit quality.
  • Overview customers service issues and closely interact with operations, technology and service quality order to ensure effective service levels
  • Maintain strong knowledge of policies covering operational risk, sales processes, credit, anti-mis-selling, and related areas.
  • Communicate openly and effectively while providing strong leadership to support team and unit success.

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 6- 8 yrs of Banking experience preferably in a sales or relationship management role.
  • Experience in client management.
  • Experience in Team Management.
  • UAE National with Family Book.
