An Architecture QAQC Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring quality control and assurance in architectural projects. This professional is responsible for maintaining high standards of construction and design throughout a project’s lifecycle, from initial drawings to final inspections. Working closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, the QAQC Inspector ensures that all specifications and standards are adhered to, minimizing errors and preventing costly setbacks. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Review architectural plans and drawings for potential design and construction errors.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to resolve any identified issues on-site.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality assurance and quality control findings.
• Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet or exceed established standards.
• Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of QAQC procedures and scorecards.
• Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and construction personnel.
• Maintain updated records of inspections and follow-up actions as necessary.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings to align on quality expectations and criteria.
• Review and approve contractor and subcontractor quality assurance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or architectural quality control.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in inspection tasks.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical documentation accurately.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency with QAQC software tools and reporting systems is preferred.
