Architecture QAQC Inspector (225-701)

The Architecture QAQC Inspector plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of architectural projects to the prescribed standards, codes, and client specifications. This position involves detailed inspection and quality assurance/control of construction processes, architectural design implementations, and material usage to guarantee the finished product meets high-quality standards. The QAQC Inspector collaborates with project managers, architects, and construction teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with architectural projects, making sure that any discrepancies are addressed promptly and effectively. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of architectural projects to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Review and analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications for quality assurance.
• Monitor construction activities to confirm adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
• Document and report any discrepancies or deviations from the approved project plans.
• Collaborate with project management to develop quality control procedures and protocols.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure that all materials and construction practices meet quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of workmanship.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements in construction processes and practices.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of QAQC documentation and records.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss quality issues and progress updates.
• Train and mentor junior staff on quality assurance and control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control in architecture.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methodologies.
• Proven ability to interpret architectural plans, specifications, and schematic drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for collaboration with teams.
• Familiarity with QAQC software tools and construction management software is advantageous.
• Certification in quality assurance practices or construction management is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
