Job Description
We're looking for a talented and visionary Architect to join our dynamic design team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative architectural designs while overseeing their successful implementation from concept through completion. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality built environments that balance aesthetic vision with practical functionality, regulatory compliance, and sustainable design principles. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a vibrant market while contributing to Dubai's evolving architectural landscape.
- Develop comprehensive architectural design concepts and master plans for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and institutional projects, utilizing industry-standard design software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms
- Conduct detailed site analysis and feasibility studies to inform design decisions, considering local climate conditions, environmental factors, and regulatory requirements specific to the UAE
- Create technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation that clearly communicate design intent to contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
- Manage the design development process from initial concept through final construction documents, ensuring consistency with project objectives, client requirements, and local building codes
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and other design professionals to integrate architectural solutions into broader project frameworks and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts
- Analyze and incorporate sustainable design practices, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and climate-responsive strategies aligned with green building standards
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and refining concepts through iterative design processes
- Oversee project delivery by coordinating with contractors, conducting site inspections, and ensuring quality standards are maintained during construction and implementation
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery while maintaining design integrity
- Stay current with industry trends, design innovations, local regulations, and building code updates affecting architectural practice in the UAE
Qualifications
- Professional architecture license or registration (required for the role)
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in architecture, with demonstrated expertise in design and project delivery
- Advanced proficiency with Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms (Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar)
- Strong expertise in CAD software and 3D visualization tools (SketchUp, Rhino, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for presentation and visualization purposes
- Comprehensive knowledge of architectural design principles, spatial planning, and site analysis methodologies
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and compliance requirements specific to the UAE and Dubai
- Experience with sustainable and green building design practices (LEED, Estidama, or similar certifications preferred)
- Excellent technical drawing and construction documentation skills
- Proven project management experience with ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage timelines effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences
- Collaborative mindset with demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and resilience in managing dynamic project requirements and evolving client needs
