Required Qualifications & Competencies:



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with 3+ years focused on BIM implementation in construction industry projects

  • Proven expertise in handling architectural projects within GCC.

  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM collaboration platforms (BIM 360, ACC).

  • Strong knowledge of LOD specifications, COBie datasets, and BIM standards (ISO 19650).

  • Experience in clash resolution, model federation, and interdisciplinary coordination.

  • Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards

  • Experience with project management, overseeing the execution of design work from concept to completion.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Monitor production of shop drawings ensuring compliance with shop-drawings production and submittal schedule.

  • Review shop-drawings prepared by draftsman for completeness and accuracy

  • Coordination between architectural – structural and electro-mechanical shop-drawings.

  • Ensuring preparation of architectural as built drawings related to the company scope of works and review for completeness and accuracy.

  • Initiate and prepare shop drawings submittal for approval.

  • Monitor and control approved shop-drawings ensuring stamped with Issued for Construction.

  • Ensure distribution of drawings to all relevant staff / sections via Document Controller under internal document distribution system. 

  • Ensure that shop-drawings are updated as per Consultants’ comments and re-issued for approval in a timely manner.

  •  Planning for preparation of As-Built drawings, submission for approval prior to contract close out. 

  • Lead the development and coordination of architectural BIM models (Revit, ArchiCAD) across construction phase.  

  • Lead the development and coordination of BIM models (Revit, Navisworks) across construction phase.

  • Collaborate with engineers, sub-contractors, and stakeholders to resolve clashes, enhance constructability, and streamline workflows.

  • Conduct *clash detection* and model validation using tools like Navisworks or Solibri.

  • Develop and maintain BIM templates, families, and libraries to standardize workflows. 

  • Train and mentor architectural teams on BIM best practices.

  • Participate in design reviews, providing technical insights to optimize building performance and compliance with codes/regulations.
