Architect / Interior Designer

Position: Architect – Interior Fit-Out

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Architect with experience in interior fit-out projects to manage design development, shop drawings, authority approvals, and project coordination from concept to completion. The candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of interior fit-out works and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs, detailed drawings, and shop drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Develop space planning, layout plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, and site teams.
• Review project specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
• Ensure designs comply with local authority regulations and project requirements.
• Obtain and coordinate approvals from relevant authorities where required.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
• Resolve design and technical issues arising during project execution.
• Coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Prepare material submittals and technical documentation.
• Support the estimation and procurement teams with technical information.
• Ensure timely completion of design deliverables and project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority approval procedures.
• Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of BIM and project management processes.

• Design Manager / Project Manager
