Job Description

An Architect with the designation 12N25 plays a critical role in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects. This specialized position calls for a blend of creativity, technical prowess, and management skills to bring architectural visions to life. The Architect is entrusted with transforming client needs and desires into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. This involves working closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure projects meet intended designs, budgets, and timelines. A keen understanding of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes is essential. Additionally, proficiency in advanced design software and strong project management capabilities are paramount to maneuver through the various phases of design and construction effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Create detailed architectural designs and blueprints using advanced CAD software.
  • Liaise with clients to grasp and incorporate their design needs and specifications.
  • Conduct site evaluations to ensure adherence to design specifications and regulations.
  • Coordinate with engineers and builders to integrate structural and mechanical elements.
  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring completion within budget and on schedule.
  • Review and approve contractors' plans, designs, and drawings before project execution.
  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets to guide financial planning and expenditure.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and manage interns, junior architects, and other project support staff.
  • Participate in client presentations and meetings to explain design concepts and ideas.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Research and implement sustainable and environmentally friendly building practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software tools.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in design execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously under tight deadlines.
