The American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking an experienced Arabic Trainer to join its academic team. A Master’s degree is preferred.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Arabic at the university, foundation, or preparatory level.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Strong knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic, grammar, reading, writing, and academic communication.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Experience teaching preparatory, foundation, or bridging programs is highly preferred.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Ability to teach diverse student groups with varying academic backgrounds.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.</li></ul>Job Responsibilities<ul style="margin-top: 0in;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in;">Deliver Arabic preparatory courses that develop students’ language proficiency and academic communication skills.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in;">Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and examinations aligned with AUE academic standards.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in;">Support students who meet entry requirements but require additional academic reinforcement in Arabic.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in;">Provide academic guidance, tutoring, and support to enhance student performance and retention.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in;">Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and academic support.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in;">Review, revise, and enhance the Arabic preparatory curriculum, assessments, and learning activities.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in;">Coordinate with other preparatory trainers to ensure curriculum alignment and academic consistency.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in;">Maintain accurate academic records, student progress reports, and other required documentation.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in;">Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and academic development initiatives.</li></ul> About American University in the Emirates (AUE):The American University in the Emirates (AUE) invites applications from well-qualified candidates for a range of faculty and administrative positions.
