The Billing team at Wheely ensures that every transaction, from client payments to chauffeur payouts, is executed flawlessly. Our mission is to create a frictionless, secure, and intuitive payment experience that upholds Wheelys standards of luxury and privacy. We focus on streamlining the payment process, incorporating robust anti-fraud measures, and providing flexible payment options to meet our clients diverse needs.

We are looking for an Android Developer with a passion for crafting seamless financial transactions within our luxury service ecosystem. You will play a critical role in enhancing our Android apps billing and payment functionalities, ensuring our technology stack is not only advanced but also secure and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Enhance Payment and Billing Features: Develop and refine the apps capabilities for handling various payment methods, ensuring a smooth and intuitive process for users.
• Integrate Payment Service Providers (PSPs): Seamlessly add multiple PSPs to expand our payment options, all while upholding the highest standards of privacy and anti-fraud protection.
• Implement Anti-Fraud Technologies: Work closely with the anti-fraud team to deploy robust measures aimed at preventing fraudulent activities.
• Optimize the Payment Experience: Continuously assess and enhance the apps payment processing framework for improved performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate on Cross-Functional Teams: Engage with product, design, and anti-fraud teams to align the billing and payment systems with Wheelys standards of luxury and innovation.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong experience with Kotlin language in the context of Android
• Knowledge of Compose and Coroutines. Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) will be a plus.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, secure and well-tested code
• Good communication skills
