To perform, inspect, review, and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities within the Interiors Workshops, including but not limited to the Engraving & Decal Bay, Carpet Shop, Safety Bay, Lavatory Workshop, and Galley Cart Bay, in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, the company Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), GCAA CAR Part V, GCAA CAR-145, EASA Part-145, approved technical data, and company procedures, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Carries out, inspects, reviews, and certifies scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks within assigned workshop areas, in accordance with approved technical data and the limitations of company-issued authorizations.
Ensures all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with the company MOE, applicable regulatory requirements, approved manuals, technical documentation, and company procedures.
Verifies the quality, completeness, and conformity of completed maintenance work before certification and release.
Inspects components, materials, and completed work to identify defects, damage, non-conformances, or deviations and initiates the appropriate reporting and corrective actions.
Completes and certifies work orders, job cards, maintenance records, and supporting documentation accurately, legibly, and within the required timelines.
Ensures the proper identification and traceability of materials, components, parts, and consumables used during maintenance activities.
Ensures that tools, equipment, and facilities used for maintenance are approved, serviceable, appropriately certified, and within their calibration validity before use.
Performs or verifies applicable functional and operational checks to confirm the serviceability and satisfactory performance of maintained components or equipment.
Identifies resource, tooling, equipment, material, or operational constraints that may affect maintenance delivery and escalates them with practical recommendations.
Provides technical guidance, training, mentoring, and oversight to assigned personnel and supports the monitoring and development of their competence.
Supports internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits and assists in addressing findings and implementing agreed corrective actions.
Promotes a strong safety culture by complying with health, safety, environmental, and human factors requirements and promptly reporting hazards, unsafe conditions, and safety concerns.
Maintains the validity of all required personal authorizations, approvals, qualifications, and competencies applicable to the assigned scope of work.
Supports continuous improvement initiatives and promotes effective teamwork and communication across shifts, departments, and supporting functions to improve workflow, quality, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Associate Degree (2 years)
Fluent in English
3 years relevant experience of which 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry covering a combination of experience in aircraft or component or workshop maintenance
Working knowledge of AMOS
Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years
UAE GCAA basic license without type or Company Authorization
