As an Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our air logistics operations meet and exceed customer expectations. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will handle inquiries, process shipments, and provide valuable insights into the logistics process. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills to maintain strong customer relationships. You will be the primary point of contact for customers regarding their air shipment requirements and be responsible for ensuring smooth delivery from origin to destination. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients inquiring about air logistics solutions.
  • Manage and coordinate air shipments from initial quote through final delivery.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to handle complaints or disputes about shipments.
  • Update and maintain comprehensive records of all shipment transactions and communications.
  • Monitor the status of air shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in air logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with international air freight regulations and company policies.
  • Resolve any customs or other shipment delays by liaising with the appropriate parties.
  • Analyze customer feedback to develop strategies for improving service delivery.
  • Prepare reports on shipment operations and logistical processes for management review.
  • Develop relationships with carriers and logistics partners to enhance service quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in air logistics or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping and air freight regulations required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Adept at multitasking and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required for problem-solving tasks.
