AI Technical Lead AI Solution Architect

We are looking for an AI Technical Lead / AI Solution Architect for a leading Fintech company based in Dubai.

Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary – 45,000 AED/month + Benefits

Qualifications & Experience:

• 14+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years of relevant experience across Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Data Science.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong recent hands-on experience with Agentic AI, ideally using LangChain and/or LangGraph.
• Proven experience designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of Machine Learning, Data Science, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern AI architectures.
• Advanced Python development skills with the ability to remain technically hands-on while operating at a senior architecture and leadership level.
• Proven experience in AI solution architecture, systems integration, and enterprise application environments.
• Demonstrated experience technically leading, mentoring, and guiding teams of AI Developers and Data Scientists.
• Strong understanding of the complete AI/ML development, deployment, monitoring, and optimisation lifecycle.
• Experience implementing or supporting MLOps and LLMOps practices within production environments.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, security, responsible AI, data privacy, and risk management principles.
• Experience with Azure AI technologies and cloud-based AI architectures is highly desirable.
• Experience designing high-volume and/or real-time AI solutions is advantageous.
• Exposure to Computer Vision technologies and use cases is beneficial.
• Previous experience within government, regulated, or similarly complex enterprise environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, architectural, problem-solving, and technical decision-making capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Arabic language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be able to work fully onsite in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and production-ready AI and Machine Learning solutions for complex enterprise environments.
• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Generative AI, Large Language Model (LLM), and Agentic AI solutions.
• Design and orchestrate AI-driven workflows using Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, direction, and guidance to AI Developers and Data Scientists.
• Define AI solution architecture, technical standards, integration patterns, and deployment approaches across enterprise systems.
• Develop and review AI solutions using Python, ensuring code quality, scalability, maintainability, and technical best practices.
• Conduct technical and architectural reviews across AI/ML projects and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of MLOps and LLMOps practices for deploying, monitoring, maintaining, and scaling AI solutions.
• Lead technical decision-making throughout the end-to-end AI/ML development lifecycle, from solution design and prototyping through to production deployment.
• Mentor AI Developers and Data Scientists, supporting technical development and promoting engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with technical, business, and senior stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective AI solutions.
• Ensure AI solutions appropriately address governance, security, privacy, responsible AI, and regulatory considerations.
• Support the architecture and delivery of high-volume, real-time, and business-critical AI applications.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, tools, and methodologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
• Support the integration of AI capabilities with existing enterprise applications, data platforms, APIs, and cloud environments.
• Contribute to the organisation's wider AI strategy, technical roadmap, architecture standards, and innovation initiatives.

This is a senior, technically focused position suited to an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience across AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science, combined with strong recent exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI. The successful candidate will provide technical direction to a team of AI Developers and Data Scientists while remaining hands-on across solution architecture, development, integration, and deployment.
