Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically minded AI Intern to support the implementation of Artificial Intelligence across our business. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world AI initiatives that improve operational efficiency, automate business processes, enhance knowledge management, and support revenue generation across multiple business divisions.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can streamline workflows, improve data quality, and reduce manual effort.

This is an ideal role for someone interested in applying Large Language Models (LLMs), automation, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI workflow design within a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities: AI Implementation

  • Assist with the implementation and rollout of the company's AI platform.
  • Configure and test AI assistants for different business functions.
  • Support prompt engineering and optimisation of AI workflows.
  • Evaluate new AI technologies and recommend practical business applications.

Process Automation

  • Analyse existing business processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Design AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual administration.
  • Support the implementation of document automation and knowledge management solutions.
  • Assist in integrating AI with existing business systems where appropriate.

Knowledge Management

  • Organise and prepare company documentation for AI retrieval.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of AI knowledge bases.
  • Assist with document classification and metadata management.
  • Help improve search accuracy through structured content organisation.

AI Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Test AI outputs for quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Identify hallucinations, inconsistencies, or gaps in responses.
  • Maintain testing documentation and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor AI performance and user feedback.

Data & Analytics

  • Prepare datasets for AI processing.
  • Analyse AI usage and adoption metrics.
  • Produce reports on productivity improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Support dashboard creation where required.

Business Support

  • Work with departments including HR, Work Winning, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Operations to identify AI opportunities.
  • Document business requirements.
  • Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
  • Assist with training materials and user guides.

Research & Innovation

  • Monitor developments in Generative AI and automation technologies.
  • Benchmark competitor AI capabilities.
  • Research new tools that could improve business performance.
  • Prepare recommendations and proof-of-concept demonstrations.

Skills & Experience (Essential)

  • Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
