The Role

The AI Business Analyst is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of product, business strategy, and operations. Youll work directly with our founders and senior leadership to turn business questions into structured analyses, product insights into decisions, and operational complexity into scalable systems.

This isnt a traditional analyst role. Youll be embedded in the product and GTM teams, using AI tools daily to compress weeks of work into hours. Youll be expected to think commercially, communicate clearly, and move fast.

This role offers genuine international exposure — youll work on the new market expansion, interface with global broker networks and carriers, and collaborate with a team that spans Lisbon, New York, and beyond.

What Youll Do

• Conduct structured business analyses to support strategic decisions: market sizing, pricing, competitive intelligence, GTM performance
• Work with the Product team to translate customer and market insights into product, automations and feature requests
• Build and maintain operational dashboards, reporting frameworks, automate processes and performance metrics across GTM, marketing and product
• Support the design and optimization of AI-powered workflows — for both internal operations and client-facing product features
• Help prepare executive materials, investor updates, and strategic documents
• Own specific operational processes end-to-end: onboarding flows, broker success tracks, pipeline reporting
• Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions — youre not just an analyst, youre a problem-solver
• Represent FRANK alongside events and clients

What Were Looking For

Must-haves:

• Degree from a top business school — we particularly welcome graduates from NovaSBE, Católica Business School, or equivalent programmes and universities
• 0–3 years of professional experience in a startup, management consulting, investment banking, or similar high-performance environment
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills — you can break down a complex problem and communicate it simply
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and comfort building models from scratch
• Excellent written English — you write clearly and concisely, with no fluff
• Genuine curiosity about AI: youre already using AI tools in your daily work and thinking about how to push further
• High ownership and low ego — youre comfortable doing both the strategic thinking and the operational execution

Nice-to-haves:

• Internship or work experience in a startup, VC-backed company, or Tier 1 consulting firm
• Exposure to insurance, fintech, or B2B SaaS
• Experience with tools like Notion, Airtable, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar
• Basic SQL or Python skills
• Familiarity with AI workflows, prompt engineering, or LLM-based tooling
