Job Description

Are you a seasoned Delivery Manager with a passion for consultancy and a knack for leading successful projects? Aqovia is seeking a talented individual like you to step into the role of Delivery Manager. This on-site Lahore, Pakistan–based opportunity is ideal for professionals adept at managing software development life cycles, product delivery, client relationships, and contributing to the companys growth through consultative sales particularly within the Open/Digital Banking and emerging fintech domains.

Your Role: Bridging Technical Expertise, Product Ownership, and Client Engagement

In this role, you will:

• Guide Technical & Product Teams: Steer a proficient software development and product delivery team, ensuring alignment with client expectations in quality, cost, and timeliness. Lead them through Agile-based software development programs, with a focus on key digital financial products across Open Banking, Digital Banking, eWallets, Blockchain, Crypto, APIs, and BaaS.
• Drive Product Management Practices: Collaborate with stakeholders to define product roadmaps, refine backlogs, and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements. Ensure products deliver measurable business value and align with client vision and market trends.
• Master Client Relationships: Foster and maintain strong client relationships, balancing client needs with internal resources. Utilise your Agile and product management expertise to guide solution design and delivery, especially within fintech ecosystems and digital banking platforms.
• Strategic Growth and Risk Management: Expand Aqovias presence through strategic sales and client engagement. Play a key role in risk identification and management, aligning with revenue, product strategy, and account objectives, including growth opportunities across embedded finance, API-led banking, and digital payments.
  
  

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee multiple Account/Project and Product deliveries with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and customer-centric outcomes.
• Ensure Agile & Product Best Practices: Champion Agile methodologies, product discovery, iterative delivery, and data-driven decision-making.
• Comprehensive Reporting: Deliver clear customer and internal reporting aligned to DORA metrics, offering insights into product and project health, risks, opportunities, and performance.
• Maintain excellent English communication skills—written and verbal—to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and professional correspondence.
• Lead, grow, and manage the performance of technical and product teams including full-stack developers, DevOps engineers, product owners, business/technical analysts, and UX/UI designers.
• Client Experience Management: Oversee the client experience, delivering high satisfaction, continuity, and engagement.
• Profitability Oversight: Ensure profitability across accounts and product lines under your stewardship.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Demonstrable and extensive experience managing API driven architecture and software development lifecycles within an Agile framework.
• Proven track record in leading software engineering and product delivery teams.
• Hands-on experience in one or more digital financial product areas: Open/Digital Banking, eWallets/digital payments, Crypto/digital asset integrations, Blockchain-based applications, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS)
• Strong product management experience including roadmap creation, backlog refinement, user story development, prioritisation frameworks, and product lifecycle management.
• Expertise in tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and strong policy management skills, particularly in DevSecOps.
• Experience in resource planning, team capability development, and adherence to organisational policies.
