The Elevator Trainee role is focused on grooming Emirati talent for future positions as Sales Engineers within the elevator industry. Responsibilities include gaining technical and sales knowledge of HITACHI and BLT products, conducting site surveys, and participating in sales activities to support business objectives and development. The role involves engaging with clients to provide solutions for elevator replacement or upgrades and requires an ability to foster positive business relationships.
What You Will Do:
Sales and Sales Engineering
Gain and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HITACHI products by accessing sales engineering portals.
Sell AFE associated brands such as HITACHI and BLT.
Develop and explain the sales territory through cold calling and familiarity with local market conditions and competitor dynamics.
Identify benefits to customers and opportunities to upgrade or replace products involved.
Make site surveys to offer proper solutions in case of replacement of elevators.
Achieve or exceed planned sales objectives.
Customer Service and Relationship Management
Efficiently process all assigned inquiries using the CRM tool, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing each inquiry thoroughly and proactively, resulting in a seamless experience.
Work to improve current and develop new business relationships.
Prepare proposals (product data sheets) and provide technical support to current and prospective customers.
Attend sales negotiations meetings and post-tender clarification meetings.
Reporting and Tool Management
Monitor and manage opportunities in Monday.com and prepare biweekly reports.
Learn to use TST tools, check drawings and submittals prior to submitting to customers.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
Proficiency in sales engineering processes and HITACHI product knowledge.
Strong communication skills for developing and maintaining customer relationships.
Ability to efficiently process inquiries using CRM tools and provide technical support.
Capability to conduct site surveys and provide solutions with attention to competitor dynamics and market conditions.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required, or currently pursuing such a degree in their final academic year.
Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
Willingness to meet customers and visit sites.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
