The role

Join the water planning team in Natural Resources Wales to help us analyse and understand our data to influence work planning and policy in the future. Using your data analysis skills especially Excel and PowerBi, you will join a pan-Wales team to look at water environment data including Shellfish Waters, Water Framework Directive Regulations and water company investment plans to help us improve the water environment.

About Us

You will be part of an established team in NRW with expertise in marine and freshwater quality, hydro morphology, protected areas, water company investment, water modelling and project management. Your role will look at specific data sets and use your analytical skills to bring our knowledge up to date on policy areas such as shellfish waters so that we can shape the future approach to planning and environmental protection. An enthusiasm for data, understanding environmental pressures and finding solutions to problems will make you a suitable candidate for this role.
