An Advertising Sales Representative is an essential part of the marketing and sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of advertising space and solutions. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups and updates.
  • Present advertising solutions and media channels to clients, addressing all their queries effectively.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients, setting clear expectations and ensuring mutual agreements.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling advertising campaigns and strategies.
  • Track client engagement and sales metrics to assess performance and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives within prescribed time frames and budgets.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Respond swiftly to client requests or concerns, ensuring exemplary customer service standards.
  • Ensure all client information and deals are accurately recorded and updated in CRM systems.
  • Stay informed on competitors’ activities and market conditions to adjust sales approaches accordingly.
  • Keep abreast of new advertising technologies and platforms to present to new and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales or advertising roles, demonstrating strong business acumen.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills tailored to different audiences and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales performance tracking tools and techniques.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously with successful outcomes.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market trends and client needs.
