The Admission Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the comprehensive and sometimes daunting admission process. This position requires an individual who is personable, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about the academic programs and offerings at the institution. The Admission Advisor will be responsible for understanding each applicant's needs and aspirations, and effectively communicating how the institution can meet and exceed those expectations. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive information about the institution’s programs and admission procedures.
  • Guide prospective students through the application process effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively with prospective students and their families.
  • Attend and participate in recruitment events, such as college fairs and school visits.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop material that attracts prospective students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admission processes in the database.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with high schools and community organizations.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to determine applicant eligibility and fit.
  • Assist in developing strategies for outreach and student recruitment efforts.
  • Stay updated with admission trends and changes in higher education policies.
  • Provide feedback and insights to peers and superiors about market demands and challenges.
  • Regularly review and enhance the admission process for optimal efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in admissions or a similar role preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM system.
  • Ability to travel for recruitment events and work flexible hours occasionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail required.
