Job Description

An Administrative Officer plays a vital role in ensuring that an organization's operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day administrative activities with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient filing system to keep office records organized.
  • Monitor and procure office supplies to ensure a well-stocked workplace.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and presentations.
  • Handle correspondence, responding to emails and forwarding them as necessary.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management.
  • Support the HR department in onboarding new employees and maintaining HR records.
  • Manage the negotiation and coordination with vendors and service providers.
  • Assist with office layout planning and office move logistics as necessary.
  • Ensure the office security system is functioning properly and coordinate maintenance as required.
  • Coordinate with IT for troubleshooting and resolving office equipment issues.
  • Facilitate the internal communication process to ensure information is conveyed effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Administrative Officer or similar role with success.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with office management software.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player.
