Job Description

The Admin Assistant cum Accounts role is a dynamic and multifaceted position within any organization. This position primarily involves providing administrative support while also handling some financial tasks, making it critical in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the office. The person in this role should have excellent multitasking abilities, be detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills. They will be responsible for various administrative duties, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling communication tasks. On the accounting side, they will support the financial team by processing invoices, managing petty cash, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires a proactive individual with a penchant for numbers, who is also adept at managing various tasks concurrently.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily office operations and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Provide support to office staff by organizing meetings and coordinating schedules.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including emails and phone calls.
  • Maintain and update company records, files, and databases accurately.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation for management.
  • Handle petty cash and ensure transactions are recorded properly.
  • Support the accounting team with monthly close processes and audits.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries for staff.
  • Manage office calendars and schedule appointments, ensuring time efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective and smooth workflow processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or accounting support role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and accounting software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
