Acute Medicine Specialist

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with a range of acute medical conditions
• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines
• Analyze diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions and patient management
• Provide immediate care in emergency situations and stabilize critical patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options, management strategies, and preventive care

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Acute Medicine or a related specialty is preferred
• Current and valid medical license in the state of practice
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care setting
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
• Team-oriented approach with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
