Job Description

The Accounts Executive plays a crucial role within the financial department of an organization, with primary responsibilities in managing daily accounting tasks and ensuring financial transactions comply with the law and corporate policies. This role involves working closely with different departments to ensure the financial health of the organization and maintain the necessary documentation that adheres to governmental requirements. The Accounts Executive typically oversees the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting. Their expertise not only ensures accurate financial reporting but also supports organizational goals and promotes efficiency and effectiveness in operations. As a key financial advisor, the Accounts Executive must possess a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to interpret complex financial data and present findings that aid management in making strategic decisions.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast and plan for future financial needs.
  • Monitor and oversee financial operations and processes within the organization.
  • Reconcile discrepancies identified in financial reports and develop methods to avoid such issues.
  • Prepare and manage invoicing and billing to ensure timely transactions and payments.
  • Conduct audits and evaluations of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Review organizational financial policies and procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial legislation and policies affecting the organization.
  • Assist in developing and implementing better financial management procedures and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or related roles.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting laws, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
