Job Description

An Accounts Assistant (Arabic Speaking) plays a vital role in the finance department by supporting the accounting team in various financial tasks. This position requires fluency in Arabic due to the frequent interaction with Arabic-speaking clients and the handling of financial documents in Arabic. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a basic understanding of accounting principles. This role involves a variety of duties such as assisting in the preparation of financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and performing reconciliations. The Accounts Assistant (Arabic Speaking) will also support the team in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and editing of financial documents and reports in Arabic.
  • Provide support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Conduct reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Facilitate communication with Arabic-speaking clients and suppliers as needed.
  • Manage data entry tasks and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Assist with the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Review and verify financial documents and transactions for accuracy.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes as required.
  • Help in coordinating and preparing for financial audits and reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and accounting standards and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team and other departments.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with diverse cultures.
