Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant (Arabic Speaking) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills coupled with fluency in both Arabic and English. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and reporting. The Accounts Assistant will work closely with the finance team to maintain impeccable records of all financial activities, assist in budget preparations, and provide accurate financial information for decision-making processes. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and balance sheets.
  • Manage accounts payables and receivables efficiently and accurately.
  • Review and process expense reports and reimbursements timely.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company budget regularly.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the finance department.
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation for audits and financial reviews.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
  • Translate financial documents and communications from Arabic to English as needed.
  • Provide timely support and information to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting software and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
