The Accounting Manager at 21F26 is a crucial leadership position responsible for managing the financial health and integrity of the organization. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support the financial planning process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the year-end audits and other external financial assessments.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Mentor and develop a professional accounting team to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the organization’s financial objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, expenses, and other financial aspects to maintain fiscal stability.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Utilize financial software tools to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide team performance.
