Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.

• Assist with VAT preparation, filing, and compliance in accordance with UAE regulations.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Prepare payroll and employee expense reimbursements.

• Coordinate with auditors and assist during internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.

• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA are an advantage.
