Accountant - Real Estate Experience Required

We are looking for an Accountant with real estate accounting experience in the UAE.

The candidate must understand brokerage accounting, commission tracking, client payments, developer receivables, VAT preparation, reconciliations, and monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting entries, invoices, receipts, and payments
• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Track broker commissions, referral payments, and developer receivables
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Prepare monthly reports: cash position, receivables, payables, expenses, and profit/loss summary
• Support UAE VAT filing preparation and corporate tax documentation
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, contracts, payment proofs, and supporting documents
• Follow up on missing documents and pending payments
• Keep all accounting records clean, organized, and audit-ready
• Report clearly to management without needing constant follow-up

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years accounting experience in the UAE
• Real estate, brokerage, or property management accounting experience is required
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT basics
• Corporate tax knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or similar accounting software
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Accurate, confidential, and deadline-focused
• Able to prepare clear monthly management reports

Important

This is not a basic data-entry role. We need someone who understands real estate transactions, commissions, reconciliations, and financial discipline.

Salary: AED 5,000/month

Probation: 3 months

Start: Immediate preferred

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical accounting test before final selection.
