Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records up to Trial Balance level. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT regulations, and be able to work independently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting activities including Cash Book, Bank Book, and General Ledger up to Trial Balance.

• Handle bank transfers, bank transactions, invoice preparation, and bank reconciliation statements.

• Manage petty cash, including preparation of petty cash vouchers and records.

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) efficiently.

• Prepare all types of vouchers, including Journal Vouchers (JV).

• Perform accurate VAT calculations, prepare reports, and handle VAT filing as per UAE regulations.

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards.

• Work in a professional manner with strong ethics and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

• Communicate effectively with management, vendors, and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance (Mandatory).

• 3–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE or home country.

• Proven experience in maintaining a full set of accounts.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word (Advantage).

• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
